| Attila and the Huns was formed in early 2004 by Andrew, Matthew, Philip and Kevin O'Donnell. Their
first gig together, with Philip on guitar at just 10, was the Osceola County Fair in Kissimmee, Florida. While they started as a cover band,
the guys quickly began writing their own material. Their early songs strongly reflected their early Green Day/Blink 182 influences, and in
2005 they released a self-produced, self-titled CD Demo. This CD produced two songs that received some radio airplay ("Beach Bum" and "She Rocks My World")
and a recording contract with Dreamscape Records out of New York.
During 2006, the band played a lot of shows and continued to evolve. In preparing for their 2nd CD they began to be heavily influenced by ska bands such as Less than Jake,
Toots and the Maytals and The Specials. After a year of dissatisfaction with their label, the band moved on and in early 2007 released their 2nd CD,
"Good Teenagers Take Off Their Clothes" independently. This CD, recorded at the Red Room by Orlando pros Sean Shannon and Andy King, contained 16 fan-pleasing
tracks that clearly highlighted the band's experimental and unique fusion of rock, pop and ska elements. With this CD the band began to show off the fact that its members are
all very multi-instrumental, recording all the brass, strings and keyboards for the project.More...
